TAKING VILLAGE ON THE CURVES TO SPA…
As Lycian Events develops its portfolio of events and replicates the iconic Village on the Curves to other venues around Europe, we have the exciting prospect of acquiring a site at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, one of the fastest and most beautifully situated circuits in the Ardennes.
Clearly before entering into any agreement, we would like to gauge the interest in various events held at the circuit, it is our intention to develop the site in a similar way to Le Mans but as there is no potential for trackside viewing, we would operate our shuttle system to ensure that all clients are able to go to and from the circuit quickly.
We would also be able to offer full catering via Café Virage (for any of you who have attended Spa you will appreciate that the food offerings leave much to be desired!). As with our current Le Mans packages, full travel options and a range of pre-erected tents will be available.
We hope to welcome clients in 2024, although how many of the events will depend greatly on numbers and how quickly we can get commitment. The three events would include: WEC 6hrs of Spa-Francorchamps (May 11th 2024), Spa Classic (May 2024 Date TBC) and the Belgium Grand Prix (July 26th-28th).

It is Lycian Events goal to now move forward and be in a position to offer camping at similar venues. If you have a particular favourite then please let us know.
If you do events at Spa, where you locate the village will be critical. As you well know, it’s a vast circuit, with most of the best viewing being around the paddock end of the circuit. With the fantastic new grandstand at Eau Rouge and the new ones being built off of La Source. It’s the where all the best viewing is.
Having worked at the Spa 24, run by SRO, and is a hugely attended event, it might be worth adding this to the calender?
