The Le Mans Classic continues its rapid ascendancy to being one of the great historic motor racing events. It puts together the cars which wrote the 24 Hours history book between 1923 and 1979. In total, it is expected there will be more than 350 participants with the cars being divided into six grids, each representing a different era. They will follow each other on the track, hour after hour, for 24 hours. The start of the race will take the form of a traditional Le Mans start. In keeping with tradition, the start has been  on Saturday at 16:00 with the finish 24 hours later, although we have no confirmation at the moment the ACO have published a provisional timetable which does make some changes to previous years. In addition to an exhibition of an array of wonderful cars, this international historic car meeting will also feature a parade of European Clubs on the long circuit and an auction of collectors' cars and automobilia.
