ST SATURNIN – CLASSIC BRITISH WELCOME
FRIDAY 12TH JUNE 2026 – 9:00 TO 17:00
Experience one of the most vibrant celebrations of motoring passion, The Saint-Saturnin Classic British Welcome. Since 2001, this colourful and friendly car show has been the perfect way to kick off the excitement of the Le Mans 24 Hours. Held every year on the Friday before the race, it welcomes enthusiasts from around the globe to the charming village of Saint-Saturnin, just north of Le Mans.
Each year, more than a thousand classic cars, from iconic marques to rare treasures, gather for a day filled with style, sound, and shared passion. For most of the year, Saint-Saturnin is a peaceful village of around 2,300 residents, but during race weekend, it comes alive as thousands of visitors pour in to celebrate everything automotive.
Before the motorway was built, many British fans drove through Saint-Saturnin on their way to the circuit, and their beautiful machines, Jaguars, Aston Martins, Lotuses, Porsches, Ferraris and more, would always draw admiring crowds. That enthusiasm inspired the villagers to create the Classic British Welcome, giving visitors a reason to stop, explore, and join the celebration.
Officially recognised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the Classic British Welcome has become an unmissable part of Le Mans week, a gathering that perfectly captures the spirit of the 24 Hours.
On the Friday before the race, Saint-Saturnin transforms into one huge open-air car show. The Val-de-Vray Centrebecomes the heart of the event, surrounded by hundreds of stunning vehicles, from prestigious marques to small independent manufacturers, from sleek sports cars to elegant saloons, both vintage and modern.
Whether you’re a die-hard motorsport fan, a classic car enthusiast, or simply love great atmosphere, the Classic British Welcome is the place to be as Le Mans comes to life.
A full programme timetable will be available soon and we look forward to seeing you at The Classic British Welcome in 2026!
